เรียนรู้ UEFI
UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) is a standard firmware interface for PCs, designed to replace BIOS (basic input/output system). This standard was created by over 140 technology companies as part of the UEFI consortium, including Microsoft. It's designed to improve software interoperability and address limitations of BIOS.

ErP/EuP (Energy Using Product) is a function to consume the power less than 1.0W in S5 (shutdown) state.
You need a ErP ready power supply and motherboard.
When the setting is enabled, the following four functions will become unavailable:
- PME Event Wake Up
- Power On By Mouse
- Power On By Keyboard
- Wake On LAN
ErP/EuP v2.0 consume the power less than 0.5W in S5 (shutdown) state.

ACPI state
S0 Working
S1 Sleep = consumes less power than S0
S2 Sleep = consumes less power than S1
S3 Sleep = consumes less power than S2
S4 Hibernate
S5 Soft Off = full shutdown
G3 Mechanical Off = consumes no power
Modern Standby = S0 with low-power idle.
Modern Standby systems does not have S1-S3 state.
Typically systems support only one of S1-S3, not all three.
Hybrid Sleep = S1-S3 + hibernation file
Fast Startup = logged off before the hibernation file is created.
Wake-On-LAN (WOL) is supported from sleep (S3) or hibernate (S4).

Fast Boot
You will not be able to boot from a USB flash drive unless you boot from the USB in Windows.
Fast
Ultra Fast
- Only supports Windows 8/8.1 or Windows 10 installed with UEFI and not Legacy BIOS.
- Your graphics card VBIOS must support UEFI GOP.
- You will not be able to enter UEFI firmware settings at boot unless you either clear CMOS or restart to UEFI firmware settings in Windows.
General Optimization
The following features are disabled:
- Boot to Network
- Boot to Optical Devices
- Boot to Removable Devices
USB Optimization
All USB devices will be unavailable until after the operating system boots.
This feature can be temporary disabled by unplugging the computer.
The USB optimization feature will be disabled for the first boot after restoring power to the system.
Video Optimization
The BIOS displays text only, not a custom logo.
